Seeking Film Crew for D.r.e.e.m. TV!

Below is the add we created on craigslist to find our new Film Crew for the D.r.e.e.m. TV:

Hello there!

My name is Danielle and I am the Vice President of a blossoming educational non-profit dedicated to sustainable issues. The organization is called D.r.e.e.m. Reality (www.DreemReality.org).

As we continue to grow as an organization, we are expanding our techniques of education. One idea we had recently was to begin creating "D.r.e.e.m. TV", a YouTube channel that will distribute educational videos on various sustainable topics. Our hopes are to go out there, educate ourselves with hands-on and scientifically based information, then put together exciting and educational videos/films.

Right now we are preparing for our first film on the importance of using Green Cleaning Products. Already we have a 30 minute interview confirmation from Martin Mulvihill, Chemist and Associate Director of UC Berkeley's Center for Green Chemistry (http://bcgc.berkeley.edu/). Other interviews are in the works, as well as the following ideas:

* A work-party cleanup using all green products at a local cafe (The Musical Offering Cafe on Bancroft)
* Price comparison between green and non-green products
* Quality comparison
* How to make Green Cleaning Supplies at home
* Interview with one or more people that have disabilities because of toxic cleaning products
* Interview with Dr. Isha Ray (from UC Berkeley's Energy and Resources Group) about water quality - still waiting to hear from her about this.
* Interview with a environmental science student that labels street drains for "no dumping" - still waiting to hear about this as well
* Tour of the Berkeley Water Treatment Plant, with interview
* How to make your own Bidet to save paper (a fun interlude)
* On the street interviews with people of the public about their cleaning product use
* Any other ideas that others may have (including the film crew!)

We presently have an editor that has agreed to volunteer his time in order to build his portfolio. At the same time he can confidently proclaim that he is volunteering for a non-profit organization and can count on significant references to his character and quality of work for us!

D.r.e.e.m. Reality is looking to provide that same opportunity for aspiring film enthusiasts. We are seeking someone (or several people) that are interested in showing up at a location to film interviews, story lines, and other contributions that you feel would help the mission of the film. It is very important for us to support your creativity as an artist, so we welcome your input in the film creation process!

Ideally our new D.r.e.e.m. Film Crew will have filming equipment, as we haven't yet gathered quality filming equipment. We are eager to get your name and work out there in the public, and have a website and project page for this purpose (http://www.dreemreality.org/dreem-tv.html). Eventually, there will be potential to receive pay for this, once funding comes in for such projects.

If you have any questions, please contact us! We are looking to start filming as soon as we find you.

We're excited to meet and work with you!
