D.r.e.e.m. TV: Educational Videos (Green Cleaning)

Hello everyone!

An idea that has recently begun to take off, is to create educational videos about various sustainable topics. With these videos, we hope to provide free access to real information that is scientifically backed and fun! We have a page on the website that is dedicated to the video project, and will have a current list of downloadable videos (once they are complete). Check that out - Here!

The videos should be posted on our YouTube Channel as well as be available for download through the website. We've been so luck to have editor Jason Raggio jump on board as our editor. He's offered to volunteer his services to the organization for all the video projects we can muster.

So many thanks to Jason!

To get D.r.e.e.m. TV and the Educational Videos started, we have decided to dive into the world of Green Cleaning products. After a particularly extreme cleaning day using traditional, non-green products - I made a vow to educate myself and others about the importance of Green Cleaning Products.

The video, which seems to be turning more into a documentary and film, hopes to cover such topics as these:

  • Interview with Chemist Martin Milvihill, Associate Director to UC Berkeley's Center for Green Chemistry's Education and Outreach Program
  • A work-party cleanup using all green products
  • Price comparison between green and non-green products
  • Quality comparison
  • Creating Green Cleaning Products at home
  • Interview with Dr. Isha Ray from UC Berkeley's Energy and Resource Group, about water quality - still waiting to hear from her about this
  • Interview with a environmental science student that labels street drains for "no dumping" - still waiting to hear about this as well
  • How to make your own Bidet to save paper (a fun interlude)
  • On the street interviews with people of the public
There's no telling where else this project will develop, but it is very exciting!

If only we can find some highly motivated filming enthusiasts that are wanting to volunteer their time to build a portfolio by filming with us. If you know of anyone, contact us!
