Volunteer Appreciation & Activation Jamboree

The time has come to really show our appreciation for our amazing volunteers. There have been a number of Dreemers that have contribute to the growth of this organization, particularly when DreemGardens rocketed into existence back from April - June 2012. Each weekend we gathered to transform many home gardens as a team of new and return volunteers. Eventually, the season changed and summer was on. People began traveling and using their weekends for other wonderful things. We also undertook an evolution for DreemGardens and have needed time to let it simmer. The time is coming to reactivate and appreciate these many volunteers!

Volunteer Apprciation & Activation Jamboree

Let's all gather together to celebrate each other, hard work, education, and feel impassioned about taking new steps to create together. When: Sunday, October 21  - Noon until 4ish Where: Open Park at the end of Lode Street, off of 26th (Westside, next to the water plant and eucalyptus trees) What: Potluck style picnic gathering, with live music, t-shirt making, art making, socializing. We'll have fun, talk about how awesome volunteering is, share ideas, meet new people, and get an introduction to the DreemCollective that volunteers are already part of! To Bring: If you want:

• A dish or drink to share with other Dreemers
• A solid colored T-shirt to craft your official DreemShirt "uniform"
• Any musical instruments you'd like
• Outdoor fun things (hoola hoops, frizbees, soccer ball)
• Any friends that may be interested in doing some Dreeming! No experience or specialties required, just passion

General Itinerary:

• 12-12:30 Appreciation Circle and Dreem Cheer
• 12:30 - 3:30 Have fun, do art, brain storm, relax and play, talk Dreems
• 3:30 - 4 Activation Circle and another Dreem Cheer!
